Handing over the letters of appointment to 14 officers who have been promoted to the post of DIG from the post of SSP

A ceremony for handing over the letters of appointment for 14 newly appointed Deputy Inspector Generals of Police with the approval of the National Police Commission was held under the leadership of Inspector General of Police, Mr. Pujith Jayasundara at 9.45am on 05.07.2016 at the IG’s Conference Hall, Police Headquarters.  

During this ceremony, appointment letters were handed over to the following officers. DIGG. Mr. Ajith Rohana, Mr. Wasantha Wickramasinghe, Mr. Padmalal Sandungahawatta, Mr. Champika Siriwardena, Mr. Priyantha Jayakody, Mr. Nimal Perera, Mr. Marvin Wickramasinghe, Mr. Gegari Cooray, Mr. R. N. Welikanna, Mr. R. L. Ranaweera, Mr. K. B. Mahagedara, Mr. M. B. Ellepola,  Mr. Devid Gajasinghe, Mr. Palitha Fernando.
